Speak English Clearly   With this book you can learn to pronounce any word in the dictionary in either American or British English. The chapters on fast speech should be particularly useful in understanding video game talk.

Understanding English Verb Forms: This is based on the modern way of teaching and learning tenses which is actually much easier to understand than the traditional methods you were probably exposed to. There are only two real tenses; the rest of what we traditionally teach as tenses is now called “aspect.” You will learn how speakers and writers add meaning to the tenses with forms like “to be…ing” and have/has…-ed.  There are also sections on passive voice and conditionals.

Online/Offline: You can read the Bangkok Post.  This is the latest revision of a book which we first published in 1980. It will help you read not just the Bangkok Post, but any English newspapers, especially the online editions.
