UNDERSTANDING FAST (REAL) ENGLISH

If you join a video game with native English speakers, one of the first things you will likely notice is how fast they speak. They may slow down for you, but not when they are talking with each other.

If you are very good at the game you are playing – Fortnite, for example – this may not be a big problem since you know what to do in most situations. But to be a good teammate, you really need to understand the questions they ask you or the information they share.

This takes practice and you will get plenting of that with Real English for Gamers. You might want to start with our section Fast Speech Listening Practice

They also tend to be very fast, however, so you will definitely want to listen more than once. Here is an example:

We have more than 100 units in our collection. Why not listen to all of them? In just ten minutes you can do two or three a day.
